Dina Titus Introduces Bill To Incentivize Individuals To Get Vaccine

A vaccination.

US Representative Dina Titus wishes to make a national government lottery to encourage individuals to have the coronavirus vaccine. The Las Vegas representative introduced a bill in Congress that would make a cash prize of $1 million for 100 winners with at least a single dosage of the said vaccine.

Similar lotteries in Ohio, New Mexico and California that boosted coronavirus vaccination rates of those US states have inspired this idea of Nevada. Titus said that officials should be creative as coronavirus vaccination rates come down sharply.

The representative’s proposal would necessitate the establishment of that national lottery so that 100 winners aged 18 years and above could be selected on a random basis.
